Service
Working alongside South Africa's legal framework for financial protection.
When a person can no longer manage their own affairs, South African law provides two routes – a curator bonis, appointed by the High Court, or an administrator, appointed by the Master of the High Court under the Mental Health Care Act (typically for smaller estates).
Money Carer South Africa doesn't replace the curator or administrator – we provide the day-to-day financial administration, record-keeping and reporting that supports them in fulfilling their duty to the Master of the High Court.
- Support for curators and administrators with day-to-day account management
- Meticulous record-keeping for annual accounts to the Master of the High Court
- Coordination with attorneys, families and the Master's office
- Guidance on which route may apply – always in partnership with a qualified attorney
